My name is Tina. My husband of 20 years is Jacob, and we have 2 kids, Jakob (20) and Laci (18), who will both be away at college this year! Some fun facts about me are that I love scented pens, Charlie Brown and Strawberry Shortcake. My favorite place is Santa Cruz, CA or watching the wild horses in Virginia City, NV.

I have been in early childcare since one of my first jobs in high school! I also taught my own kids through their younger and elementary years while they were in a university model school. I taught for 4 years at Holy Cross preschool working with 2 to 4 year olds and found Shady Oak when my previous school, that I loved very much, closed.

My goal this year is that your child grows their character in kindness and love and builds confidence in themselves while developing a lifelong love of learning. I look forward to my first year at Shady Oak!
