My Shady Oak journey started in 2005 when I attended as a preschooler! Throughout the last several years, I have served as a substitute teacher and Summer teacher. My family is deeply rooted in the values of this amazing school, and I am so happy to be officially joining the staff this year as a Grubs Teacher and PE Coach.

Making connections with each child is my favorite thing about working at Shady Oak. I love getting to know each of them as individuals and joining them in their play!

I recently graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. I love sports and being outdoors. Some of my favorite things to do are fishing anywhere on the coast or just hanging out with friends throwing a ball or playing basketball. I love all sports, but football is my passion - especially college football.

My goal after completing my teaching certificate is to become a high school football coach, but in the meantime, I am looking forward to an active, exciting, and fun year here at Shady Oak!
