Elena Boskey, Grubs Teacher
I attended Shady Oak as a student in 2001 to 2003. When I graduated from kindergarten, the class received pecan tree sprouts in paper cups. Now, that pecan tree is 20ft tall planted in the middle of my parents backyard. After teaching in public school for five years, I felt the calling back to the nurturing and authentic environment of Shady Oak. It’s been a huge blessing to return back to my ‘roots’. I am thrilled to be the Grubs Class teacher this year, working with our awesome 1st and 2nd graders!
A little about myself, I am married to my better half, Wesley and we have two exuberant dogs, and one curious betta fish. We love going to the movies, and camping at our favorite spot as often as possible. My hobbies include water color painting, reading, and dancing.
