Nicole Boysen, Sprouts Assistant
Hello! I have been a part of the Shady Oak village since 2023 when my oldest child started his first year in Sprouts. I discovered Shady Oak by what I feel was a sign (really multiple signs) from God.
Both my husband and I were anxious about the change of having our son in someone else’s care, but after meeting his teachers and seeing the love and kindness exuded by everyone at Shady Oak, we knew it was the right place for our family.
Our son has thrived in this environment; and this will be our daughter’s first year. Whenever anyone has asked me about the school my child goes to, I’ve always gushed. It is a special place. And now I get to be a part of it as both a parent and a teacher.
Although I’ve been a stay-at-home-mom for the past few years and worked in my family’s business before that, I do have a background in education. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Early Childhood through Sixth Grade. I’m looking forward to getting to know every child and learning what makes each one of them special. We are going to have a great year!
