There are a number of programs offered to meet the varying needs of families in Fort Bend County.
Full day programs are available in tow age groups: 3 – 5 year olds and 6 – 10 year olds. Hours are 7:00 - 5:30 and tuition is priced by the week. Classes meet from June 6th through August 26th.
Three (3) four week sessions are offered for two days a week. These occur during June, July and August. These sessions are for 3-6 yr. Olds and focus on a session-long theme developed through art, music, story times, and outdoor play. Hours are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. with an extended day available until 3 p.m. Payment is required in advance for each session and is non-refundable.
Play Away Days and Elementary Day Camps are scattered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the summer. Hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Pre-paying a minimum number of days is required to hold a place in this program. Ages are 3 years old to post Kindergarten for Play Away Days, and post 1st grade to post 5th grade for Play Away Days Elementary Day Camps.

"Branching Out" at Shady Oak!
"Branching Out" is an experientially based, hands-on program that is made of week-long classes for children finishing Readiness (age 4 years old) through adult. These enrichment classes focus on such topics as adventures for boys and girls through various periods of history, cooking, “Outer Space”, “Experience Asia”, “Wacky Science”, “Cooking Around the World”, “Dino-Mite Dinosaurs”, “Stream Team” (a scientific investigation of our local waterways), “Oodles of Noodles”, “Pages from the Past” (based on the American Girl books and dolls), “Presenting Lemonade! The Musical”, and much more.

Play Away Days at Shady Oak!
Play Away Days are on Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays and provide a time for Kiddos to participate in terrific activities. Indoor and outdoor play time are provided. Each day’s activities are centered around a theme with music, art, drama, games, and stories to be experienced.
