Kathy Strode has been a teacher at Shady Oak since 1991. Over the past 30 years, she has taught Kindergarten, pre-k, summer programs and book studies with parents. She received her degree from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania. She raised 2 amazing daughters with her late husband, Dan, to whom she was married for 46 years, and they have 3 amazing grandbabies. She enjoys the beach, spending time with family, and teaching.
